Refund policy
Thank you for shopping with us! We greatly appreciate your purchase! If you have a concern or question about your purchase, please reach out to hello@detailsanddesign.com and we will do our best to make it right.
Damages: Any damages must be reported within 24 hours from delivery.
Non-returnable Items: Due to our partnerships with many different vendors, old and new, some products are not eligible for returns, including:
- All furniture
- Custom orders
- Tabletop items
- Wall art
- All textiles (bedding, throws, blankets, pillows, drapery)
- Rugs
- Sale items
Fees:
- For eligible lighting, mirror, and accessory returns, a 25% restock fee will apply.
- If an item is returned in a condition where it cannot be resold, you will be responsible for arranging pickup at your expense. If not picked up within 15 days of inspection, the item will be destroyed or given to charity.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable. While we offer free shipping on many items, if you return an item with free shipping, the refund will be for the item price minus the standard shipping costs.
- If you exchange a free shipping purchase for another item that also qualifies for free shipping, a standard shipping charge will be added.
Store Credit:
- If a Store Credit is issued for any return, it will expire 365 days after issuance. Store Credits are non-transferable, non-returnable, and hold no cash value.
Defectives Items:
- If an item arrives with a manufacturing defect or damage caused during transit, please provide photo documentation, and we will replace the defective item. If the item is no longer available and the damage claim is approved, a refund or store credit will be issued, at our discretion.
